When I see the word “possibility” my mind immediately goes back to a song I learned in my childhood.
“I am a promise. I am a possibility. I am a promise with a capital P. I am a great big bundle of potentiality.”
I can see myself standing on stage singing with the other kids. We are singing-yelling it (because that’s what kids do, right?) and even now, I can feel what it stirred up in me all those years ago.
I felt the energy from all of us singing that song and I thought I could conquer anything.

Possibility stirs up anticipation.
Anticipation stirs up hope.
And hope stirs up the desire to see it through to fruition.
When I see a possibility, I anticipate a potential outcome. Then hope gives me the fuel to press into it.
No matter what life looks like for you right now — no matter what obstacles you have dealt with lately — no matter what dreams you’ve had to put on hold — no matter how many times you’ve fallen down …
You are a promise. You are a possibility. You are a promise with a capital P. You are a great, big bundle of potentiality.
And don’t ever forget that.
